Split PDF into Separate Files
Turn a PDF into individual page files or custom page groups. Download separate PDFs or a ZIP without uploading your document.
Select the pages you need and save them as one new PDF. Use page checkboxes or ranges, with all processing kept on your device.
PDFs stay on this device. Up to 25 MiB per file, 50 MiB and 200 pages total. One PDF at a time. Encrypted PDFs, interactive forms, signatures, portfolios, embedded files and scripts are unsupported.
Supported formats: .pdf
Select a PDF and read its numbered page list.
Check the pages to keep or apply a range such as 2, 5-7.
Create and download one PDF containing the selected pages.
Extract a chapter, a set of receipts, or selected reference pages without sending the entire document. Page numbers refer to physical positions in the uploaded file, starting at one, rather than printed chapter labels. Applying 5,2,3 explicitly uses that order; checkbox selection follows the original page order.
At least one page must be selected. Extracting pages is not redaction: copied pages retain their page resources and may contain hidden content. Do not use this tool to certify that sensitive information has been removed.
Your PDF content is processed in this browser and is not uploaded to FileNimble. Input and output remain in memory until you clear the tool or leave the page. Downloads are saved by your browser. Large or unusually complex PDFs can exceed available device memory even below the stated limits; use a smaller plain PDF if processing fails.
Encrypted PDFs, interactive forms, signed documents, portfolios, embedded files and scripts are rejected. Document-level bookmarks and navigation structures are not preserved by page-copy operations. Results are not certified archival, redacted or sanitized documents. Review important output before sharing.
Extraction creates one PDF from a selected set. Splitting creates several PDF files, each containing its own page group.
