Turn sideways scans without converting them to images

Fix sideways or upside-down sheets inside a mixed-orientation document. Rotation is added to each selected page’s current rotation, so a page already turned 90 degrees becomes 180 degrees after another 90-degree turn. Unselected pages retain their original rotation and position.

What to expect

Only quarter-turn rotations are supported. This changes the PDF page rotation setting; it does not deskew a tilted scan, rotate individual objects, or edit image pixels. Use the PDF-to-image tools if you specifically need raster output.

Private browser processing and practical limits

Your PDF content is processed in this browser and is not uploaded to FileNimble. Input and output remain in memory until you clear the tool or leave the page. Downloads are saved by your browser. Large or unusually complex PDFs can exceed available device memory even below the stated limits; use a smaller plain PDF if processing fails.

Encrypted PDFs, interactive forms, signed documents, portfolios, embedded files and scripts are rejected. Document-level bookmarks and navigation structures are not preserved by page-copy operations. Results are not certified archival, redacted or sanitized documents. Review important output before sharing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Clear the selection, select that page and choose the rotation amount.

Will text become a raster image?

No. Page content is copied and the rotation setting is changed. Selectable text remains PDF text where present in the source.

What does 270 degrees mean?

It means 270 degrees clockwise, which has the same visible effect as turning the page 90 degrees counterclockwise.
